I work with clients at each and all steps of the writing process depending on their needs.
We can focus on a particular project or work on an ongoing basis.
My goal is for you to come out of our engagement feeling confident in your ability to express your ideas through writing and with practical tools to do so.
We work on practical, urgent projects and you learn through that process, rather than spending time on writing exercises that may not be relevant to you.

Sprinting to
Make a Deadline
Focus: Specific, time-sensitive project (e.g., memos to the board).
What You Get: We work as a team—you as the content expert and me as your coach—to help you unpack your messages to make them as clear and impactful as possible.
Logistics: We meet up to six times virtually with regular email exchanges. I review multiple versions of your writing, ask questions, and provide ideas and feedback on a deadline.
Fee: $7,500
Building
Your Muscle
Focus: Ongoing writing needs using more complex projects to try out new approaches.
What You Get: In addition to the logistics already listed, we talk about your goals, your previous writing experiences, what you want to communicate in your writing, and what the specific project(s) we’ll work on needs to accomplish.
Logistics: We meet up to 12 times with regular email exchanges. I work with you on each step of your writing process from start to finish. As a takeaway, I provide a step-by-step approach that you can use as a guide going forward to express your ideas clearly and effectively.
Fee: $20,000
Learning
for the Long Haul
Focus: Working with multiple grantees, consultants, or staff who regularly produce writing for an organization.
What You Get: I work with a team of people individually and as a group. We work together to create a common approach to writing and editing that will help the team write more efficiently and effectively.
Logistics: We meet individually and as a group to help individuals become confident in their writing and editing and the team develop a common approach to writing clearly and concisely.
Fee: $7,500 monthly (minimum 3-month engagement).
